I feel a deep connection with Ghana having spent the first six years of my life living in Kumasi. Visiting there again, to teach, I had the joy of renewing that deep connection within the field of homeopathy. Working as part of a dynamic team, I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to be involved in supporting homeopathic education in Ghana and to seeing it further develop there.
During my visit I was invited onto the Board of Directors at PISHAM, Accra, in May 2013. I am now an active member with regular visits planned to teach in Accra and Kumasi. In May 2014 I accepted the role of UK Co-ordinator for the Kumasi Homeopathy Training Group and have now launched a 4-year diploma course.
I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths and work within their National Registration Program, mentoring homeopaths entering the profession and going onto the UK Professional Register. I also sit on two forums for Homeopathy College Education in the UK. I have taught at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and facilitated study groups and supervision groups.
I graduated in Homeopathy in 1986 and have been in full-time practice since that time. I offer consultations by Skype and face-to-face in clinics. I am also part of a ‘Homeopathy For All’ Clinic in the UK to make homeopathy widely accessible.
I have furthered my CPD (Continuing Professional Development) through training in Europe and India as I am committed to expanding my knowledge and developing myself as a practitioner and teacher. ‘Being of service’ is what motivates me most in my professional life and in my voluntary work.
